IWA Digital Water Summit 2020
Targeting all stakeholders involved in the water sector digitalization, it is designed to bring together water technology providers and water utilities, with a focus on sharing experiences, solutions and content, while creating networking opportunities for those attending.
The engagement and commitment of incumbents, start-ups and entrants from other sectors is part of the success of digital water technology adoption, and, therefore, engaging beyond the water sector to maximize the potential of digital tools is crucial.
This Summit is part of a wider initiative to provide a platform that helps utilities recognize emerging digital technologies and solutions, how they can be integrated across the utility value chain, help them learn from it, and help them adapt and embrace change to create value.
The Digital Water Summit is developing an integrating, multi-disciplinary and interactive programme with plenary sessions, discussions, side events to be held in an Inno-Hub, exhibition, technical visits, and social events, based on the following topics scheme:
• ENVIRONMENT AND GLOBAL CHALLENGES: Water Resources, Catchment Management, Risk management of digitalisation of water and wastewater services.
• OPERATIONS (SYSTEMS): Digital Workforce, Digital Control Centre, Data and data management, Asset management.
• PARTNERSHIPS & CUSTOMER SERVICES: Customer Services, Investing in Digital Water, Partnerships for success.
Regarding the different sponsoring categories, they are designed to integrate the technical programme with the exhibition, allowing the sponsors having the chance of participating in the technical programme.
